Our standards
The DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators is a non-statutory code published in November 2025. Taking part is voluntary and there is no regulator for it.
We are not currently a signatory. We have built the controls the Code describes and we operate to them. Rather than ask you to take a badge on trust, here is every standard and whether we meet it — including the ones we do not.
Protecting players
Entry restricted to over-18s
Partly in placeOur terms restrict entry to over-18s and we verify age before any money is paid out. We are adding a check at registration, and until that is live an account can be opened before age is confirmed.
Set your own spending limits, including zero
In placeDaily, weekly and monthly limits on both deposits and spending, plus limits on the number of tickets. Increases take effect after a cooling-off period; decreases take effect at once.
Take a break, or close your account permanently
In placeTime-outs from 24 hours, self-exclusion from six months, and permanent closure. None of it can be shortened, cancelled or lifted by us or by you — the person most likely to want it lifted early is the person it protects.
No marketing to people who have excluded themselves
In placeExcluding yourself withdraws marketing consent at the same moment, and the sender checks again before anything goes out.
Watching for signs of harm and stepping in
Not yetOur controls are ones you choose to use. We do not yet monitor patterns of play and intervene, and we are building that.
Credit card limits
Not yetThe Code sets a £250 monthly credit card limit and no credit cards on instant-win competitions. Both are built as the payment provider is integrated.
Help if playing stops being fun
In placeA safer-playing page with the controls on it and links to independent support, reachable from every page.
How the draw is run
A verifiably random draw, or independent oversight
In placeThe Code asks operators to consider a third-party certification trail. Ours goes further: the entry list is fingerprinted and externally timestamped before the winning number exists, the randomness comes from a public beacon nobody here controls, and anyone can recompute the result from published evidence.
A free entry route that is genuinely equivalent
In placeFree postal entry is offered on every competition, with the same visual weight as paying. A free entry goes into the same list, is allocated by the same process, and has the same chance of winning.
The advertised prize is awarded, whatever the ticket sales
In placeWe do not cancel a competition or downgrade a prize because it sold less than we hoped. Where a cash alternative exists it is stated up front.
Ticket caps and odds published before you buy
In placeEvery competition shows how many tickets exist and how many are left. Where there is no cap we say so rather than implying one.
Instant wins are not most of what we run
In placeInstant-win competitions are a minority of the catalogue at all times.
Money
Charitable donations disclosed
Does not applyWe do not currently run a donation scheme, and we do not claim to. If that changes, the share and the running total will be published.
Clear about refunds and returns
In placeEntries are final once tickets are issued. Where we take money and cannot issue a ticket, the full amount is returned to your account automatically.
Being straight with you
Rules published in plain terms
In placeHow entry works, how the winner is chosen, and how to check it are on the how-it-works and FAQ pages, not buried in the terms.
A complaints process that goes somewhere
Partly in placeComplaints are acknowledged and handled by a person. We have not yet named an independent body to escalate to if we cannot agree, and we are arranging one.
Advertising that is socially responsible
In placeWe follow the CAP Code. We do not target under-18s, and we do not present entering as a way to solve money problems.
Publishing where we stand
In placeThis page. It is generated from how the site is actually configured, so a control that is switched off says so here rather than carrying on claiming itself.
